ASCENT OF MONT BLANC WITH A GUIDE in 2 or 3 days to reach the summit of Mont Blanc, the most beautiful peak in the Alps. Climbing Mont Blanc is not just about reaching a summit; it remains a prestigious objective that requires comfort in high-altitude mountaineering, acclimatization to the altitude, and mastery of climbing and route-building techniques.
> SUMMARY
The ascent of Mont Blanc will be the culmination of your mountaineering training. The climb will be undertaken via one of the classic routes with moderate technical difficulty. See the article on climbing routes on the blog (in French): https://www.escalade-montagne.fr/guide-mont-blanc-quelle-voie-choisir/
Spending several days in the high mountains before the ascent will allow you to achieve sufficient acclimatization to attempt the summit with confidence. The guide will offer you a training program to prepare you for the climb.
BEFORE THE TRIP: PHYSICAL PREPARATION
Climbing Mont Blanc is not a simple glacier hike; it's a long ascent at high altitude where oxygen is scarce and the body is put to the test! Physical training and acclimatization are therefore essential: you must prepare physically before the trip. Throughout your preparation, you will benefit from personalized guidance to best prepare you for your climb. Depending on your fitness level, the guide will advise you on high-mountain climbs before the trip to familiarize yourself with your equipment and to prepare you physically and technically.
SAMPLE TRAINING PROGRAM (subject to change depending on the weather)
The training days are either consecutive or spread over a short period of one month.
DAY 1: The first day of preparation will be dedicated to learning belaying techniques, climbing, and discovering the glacial terrain of the Mont Blanc massif. You will familiarize yourself with your mountaineering equipment and learn how to properly use your crampons and ice axe to progress on ice or snow slopes.
DAYS 2 and 3: The first high-altitude climb, with an overnight stay in a mountain hut, will allow you to acclimatize gently. These two days will be used to refine your roped climbing and cramponing techniques on glaciers and snow slopes.
DAYS 4 and 5: The last two days will be dedicated to climbing Mont Blanc via one of the classic routes. We will reach the mountain hut on the first day and then summit the following day.
DAY 6 (optional): An additional day may be scheduled if the program needs to be adjusted based on your acclimatization, fatigue, or the weather. A rest day can be taken before the climb.
> OBJECTIVES: SUCCESS, ENJOYMENT, AND WELL-BEING
During the summit preparation, the guide will ensure your safety and comfort for an ascent that combines the pleasure of being in the high mountains with a sense of well-being. Roped up with a guide guarantees safety and comfort.
> GROUP: The number of people in the group depends on the chosen climbing route. Generally, a rope team consists of two clients and a guide. For more technical routes (Bionnassay, Trois Monts, etc.), the guide can only rope up with one person.

One of our goals is to make the right decisions to protect natural sites and limit our impact on ecosystems and the environment.
100% local: thanks to our local presence in Bugey, close to our practice sites, we reduce our travel to a minimum. We use sustainable and environmentally friendly equipment, manufactured in France or Europe. We work with partners located in the areas we visit: restaurants, bars, and accommodations.nWe will suggest taking public transportation to the meeting points (when possible!) or carpooling for outdoor outings.
Protecting the planet: it's natural!
Photography and imagery are part of our DNA. Take advantage of our video and photo equipment to take your adventure memories home with you!
After each outing, we'll send you photos and videos of the outing, free of charge and with a smile!
